| Topic on-line applications effecting report |

I am trying to find out if applying to numerous cards on-line will have a negative effect on my credit report. I know it's the case in the real world, but I just don't know if they even actually check your credit in these 30 second approvals because you can decline the card if they approve you. Thanks for any help. | |

You should work under the assumption that your credit report is being pulled when you apply for credit. So, yes, too many inquiries in a short period of time will have a negative impact on your score. Online is the real world too. :) | |
