I just received a preaproved offer from Jcpenney. I wonder if they report
the jcpenney card to the credits bureaus. Does anybody know about?

thanks

Yes, it will. It's a good way to start establishing some positive credit for yourself. The biggest drawback to store credit cards are the APRs, they tend to be very high. The best thing to do is to pay off your balance in full each month and avoid any finance charges.

An added bonus (or pain) of utilizing a department store credit card is that you will be receiving special sale offers in the mail. :)
