I'm 40 yrs. old with 3 kids ages 6,14 and 22. My 22 year old no longer lives at home. I own my own home, 3 vehicles (which are mine). I only owe for 1 vehicle. I've been on my job for 16 yrs. I was approaved by my bank for a home loan 4 months ago for 100,000 dollars, because i wanted a bigger home. Yet! applied for a credit card at my bank which they denied me. My credit is good. I have so many different credit cards. I really want 1 major credit card for atleast 10,000 (credit line) with low interest rate.Just having difficulties with where to apply.

It all depends... The home loan, no matter how large, probably involves your own home as collateral and for that reason it's a "safer" investment on the part of the lender.
If you can't understand why you're getting denied, try getting your credit report and see what's happening.
The issuer who denied you probably sent you a letter mentioning the specific credit agency whose information was used in the decision. You can write to this agency and request your FREE report (you have a legal right to it because their information was used in making a negative decision. They are obligated to send it to you for free.)
