I have a card that I got from my bank that has about 17+% interest on it. I have about $1800 on it and I am starting to pay it off in pretty good chunks, but I would like to find a card that has very low rates for balance transfers for someone with excellent credit. I just bought a house and am leasing a truck, so my credit has had some pretty big purchases lately. Any suggestions? Ideally I am hoping to have my card paid off by the end of the year...so that should not be a problem. Thanks | |

The Bank of America Platinum Visa offers 3.9% intro APR for balance transfers for six billing cycles and the Amex Optima offers 8.9% on balance transfers until your balance is paid off. | |

How do I apply for the America Platinum Visa or the Amex Optima. I am looking for a card with low int. rate for balance tranfers that will last more than a few months. Thanks dch41 | |
