I constantly get card applications and some are sponsored by groups. In our county in NC there is presently a program to try and get county residents to shop inside the county in order to get some sales tax rewards and keep business alive. This county has a large debt due to school expansion and industrial job exportation. I was just curious if there could be some help from a shopping card program which would divert some funds to this deficit without costing residents or businesses extra premiums. We have many financial institutions but most are chains out of Charlotte, NC and my home county is Burke County.
