I'm currently a full-time student at a college and I've been reading in the forums that college students are usually approved for a credit card. I've applied for a couple, and have am always denied because of insufficient credit history. Even the wal-mart card and the best buy card. I was approved for the Burdines-Macy's card for $100. Could someone tell me who the company's are the approve students without credit history? Specific cards would work better.
Thanks, Jorge

Jorge,
Congratulations on the $100 credit line - that's a start. You might want to wait 2-3 months before applying to let the fact that you have SOME sort of credit line propagate to the credit agencies.
A personal experience (albeit not a recent one): 10 years ago, when I was in college, I was approved for the Chase card with $800 credit line.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
