I was wondering what credit score are companies looking for that will get you approved. I am repairing my credit and now have a 604 rating. What credit card company will approve me?

Hi,

A FICO score of 604 is still considered to be within the "poor" range, but you're at the very top of it. If you get above 620, your score will be described as "FAIR" you may be able to get approved by some issuers of unsecured cards (for example, the unsecured Orchard Bank product). But don't apply for higher end cards just yet - they are out of your reach and you don't need unnecessary credit inquiry records on your credit report.

if u apply and get denicned does that show up on ur credit report?

The only thing that does show up is a so-called "hard" inquiry (i.e. an inquiry which is made in reponse to your request). The result does NOT show up, but sometimes if you get denied repeatedly, the banks can see what's going on from the sequence of credit inquiries.
