Hello, new here.

I have two credit cards, both with balances around $700. I'd like to close both of them and transfer the balances to a GM card (which I've not yet applied for).

Does anyone have any experience with this card, good or bad? Anyone know what sort of credit they require? Mine used to be very bad, but I've worked hard to turn it around - I haven't checked my beacon scores in a while, but I did qualify for 0% financing on a new car about a year ago.

My other question - I have recently moved. I think I've changed my address with everyone, but there could still be some confusion. If I list my address as different than one of my creditor or the post office shows or some such thing, will that affect whether or not I am approved? I'm thinking it won't, but I don't want to end up with a rejection in the midst of the confusion.

Any comments are appreciated, thanks!

One other thing...

I had a fraudulent entry that I succesfully disputed 2 years ago. I added a note to my file that I am to be called personally before granting credit - the two numbers listed are my parents' home phone and my old cell phone number that has since been changed.

I need to change those numbers; hoping in the meantime that they do not call the old cell phone number since it's no longer mine. Do you think they'll contact me by the info I provided if that does become a problem, and allow me a chance to verify other info?
