Hi I do not have credit history in usa, but i have lots of credit cards in India, will that help to apply for US credit card?

I do have SSN, a checking account with Bank of America

Unfortunately, your Indian credit history is not transferrable. You may want to ask BofA for "overdraft protection" on your checking account (if they offer it) as a first step in establishing your credit history in the U.S. Alternatively, consider applying for a secured card, but make sure you understand all the fees.
