hi i have a ssn number since i am working and i also pay college loans which apparently affect my credit. however i dont have a credit card and i have never owned one. how can i check my credit without a credit card number and how do you recommend i research for one.

You don't need to have a credit card in order to check your credit history. Your credit history is referenced by your SSN. The problem is, if you just decide to check it, it costs *some* money. 3 main agencies (experian, equifax, twa) can provide you with a report.
