Topic i can't get a credit card for anything!!

I recently got a $12000 car loan that my grandpa co-signed on,i've made 2 payments on that loan and i have a retail credit card that i've made 3 payments on, but i just can't get a credit card(Visa, Mastercard, or Discover)! I have a checking and savings account!
