I am looking for a credit card that offers rental car insurance for collision (CDW) and theft (TLW). Rate is not important, I never cary a ballance, but a low yearly fee would be preferable. Any suggestions? Thanks

I know that the NextCard platinum cards all offer rental car insurance for both collision and theft, but that their gold cards only offer a part of that.
Capitol One - both the gold and the platinum cards provide rental car insurance for both collision and theft.
Of the other cards, I would guess that if they are platinum, then they most likely offer both, and if they are gold, then they offer either both or part of both. I hope that helps.

Nice try, Vylet, but apparently wrong on both accounts. Neither of these cards has Rental Car Insurance as far as I can tell.

So far, American Express Gold is the cheapest card with this feature, at $75 per year. I know I will not get this service for nothing, since it is truly an insurance product, but maybe someone knows of something cheaper.

Are you referring to the supplemental rental auto coverage? Just about every major issuer's Gold and Platinum card carries that, most with absolutely no annual fee. All you need to do is be sure to charge the full cost of the rental on that particular card.
