Sir,
i would like to enquire if its possible to transfer some money from Patna ,Bihar , india to st. petersburg , russia through any credit card company.
i want to ask you if its possible to purchase a credit card in patna.can i deposit money in that account in indian rupees & withdraw it in russia in US dollars.

for your reference i already have a bank account in SVER BANK , St. Petersburg. Is it possible that through a credit/debit card i can withdraw money through that account in russia or any other outlet over there.

do you have any idea of any other means through which money can be transfered quickly.

thanking you

DR,

I do not believe a credit or debit card is the correct product to transfer money with. Take a look at this service to see if it accomplishes your goal. http://www.c2it.com

Thanks.

I am not sure i fully understand the question, but if you are asking simply about using an India-issued credit card in St. Petersburg, then yes, that's an easy way to get cash while you're there.

If you have a card issued in India that offers a cash advance feature, then you can simply use it at one of St.Petersburg's ATM machines (you'd need your PIN number, of course), or banks (you'd need an ID). Be aware, however, that additional charges for cash withdrawals will apply.

Your card will be charged with the amount + applicable fees and you will receive your statement in the country where the card was issued (I understand it to be India).

(Sorry if I answered the wrong question - if that's the case, please clarify)
