If you have a stable job, a stable address and a checking account that is a great start. You may want to ask the bank where you have a checking account, for a credit card application. Also, you can build a credit history by applying for a credit card from a retailer such as Filenes, Walmart, Macy's, etc.... Let us know how you make out.
