ok, here is my question. We have three credit cards with credit limits at 15,000. We want to purchase a house. right now we have balances on all three cards. Is this high credit amount on these cards going to look bad? I heard even though we dont use the 15,000 it tells the home loaners that we still have that money in our pocket and could use it any time and that we may have trouble getting a loan for a house. Is this true? Thanks. Also we always pay our bills ontime. Mostly earlier than the due date and we always pay alot more than the min payment.
Should we call and have our credit limit lowered? Please let me know.

I don't believe having credit cards with a credit limit of $15000 hurts your credit. In fact I believe it helps you. If you have current balances close to your credit limit, this can negatively affect your rating.
