I got a credit card to pay off the fed. tax
that I owed. NOW, I need to know how I can
get another credit card--AT A LOWER INTEREST
ONLY TO PAY OFF THE VERY HIGH INTEREST CARD
THAT I HAVE NOW. TOTAL OWED IS @ $4,900.
COULD NOT ANSWER YOU SOONER, BEEN AWAY AT
DOCTORS.

I was not sure how to reply, anyway; the
message is correct. Just trying to get rid of the
high interest credit card.

Bob,
Your ability to transfer the balance to a lower rate card is determined by your credit history. If you have a solid credit history then you could look at the Amex Optima 8.9% Apr for transferred balances until balance is paid off, or if you want an interest free period try the Discover Platinum card - 0% for transferred balances until Oct 2002.
