i HAVE EXTREMELY BAD CREDIT & WOUOLD LIKE 2FIX MY CREDIT REPORT. i AM NO LONGER BEHIND ON BILLS, BUT I STILL HAVE 6 CREDIT CARDS WITH VERY HIGH INTEREST RATES. I WANT 2 DO A BALANCE TRANSFER 2 A LOWER INTEREST RATE CREDIT CARD. & KEEP MY ACCOUNT BALANCES AT 0%.

From your credit self evaluation it would seem that you might have a difficult time being accepted for a low interest card. You may want to check into debt consolidation loans to lower your interest charges. Regardless of whether you have a traditional loan or credit cards, you will need to methodically pay down your debt.

I'M A 20 YEAR OLD COLLEGE STUDENT, I'VE APPLIED FOR ALL KINDS OF CREDIT CARDS. THERE IS ONE ITEM ON MY CREDIT REPORT FOR LESS THAN 200 DOLLARS (FEE FROM A MOVIE STORE THAT'S TWO YEARS OLD, I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT IT) IS THERE ANY CARD OUT THERE FOR ME THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY DEPOSIT OR ANNUAL FEE OR AM I OUT OF LUCK?

If the fee from the movie store has not been settled, you may want to see if you can arrange for it to be removed from your credit report in exchange for payment. Talk to the movie store. This will stay on your credit report for 7 years if you don't take care of it. Also, you don't want to apply for multiple cards in a short period of time, this shows up on your credit report as multiple "inquiries" and can have a negative impact on your credit. Have you been applying for student cards?

unfortunately i've found out a lot of inquiries can hurt my credit applications. I've applied for student cards and everything else. at this moment there are at least 10 inquiries (maybe more) on my credit report. how long will they stay and what can i do to have them removed. what's the cheapest secured card out there. should i bide my time or continue to search.

At the end of every credit report is a listing of "inquires"--the record of everyone who has seen your credit file in the past one to two years. Lenders get nervous when they see that you have recently applied for a lot of credit. Some creditors will automatically turn down consumers who have five or more inquires on their credit file in the past 6 months. Once inquires are on your file, there's nothing you can do to take them off. If you have a problem with too many inquires, you should probably just wait for six months or so before applying for additional credit. Inquires generally stay on your report for two years, but most lenders are interested only in recent inquires-- usually those made within the last six months.

Each time you have applied the issuer should have provided a reason why you were not accepted. Was "too many inquiries" the reason given in your unsuccessful applications or do you have late payments etc. on your credit report? If you do want to look at secured products Orchard Bank has an attractive product.

usually derogatory info was the reasons and some times too many inquiries showed up. i have a car payment that i make, but it's not in my name, how could i use this. are small payments i could make to let them know i pay my bills.

If the car payment is not in your name it is not going to help you. You need
to get your credit report and figure out what "derogatory" information is there, then work to get that information removed. You may need to go witha secured card for a little while. You could then upgrade to an unsecured product with that issuer once you have shown that you pay your bills. Paying miscellaneous bills off probably won't offset the negative info on your report, but proving yourself to an individual issuer will help. Good Luck!
