Is there a credit card I can get to pay off all the negative stuff in collections and new active accounts to clean up my credit report?
I was stupid at 18 and I'm paying for it at 30.
My husband is 100% disabled it's my income that provides for my family.
I am desperately in need of a used car in better condition than mine QUICK!
Alll the used car lots and even newcar car lots can't find a financer because My husband and my credit report combined shows we owe a total of 5K and alot of it is in collections along with charge offs.. some recent and some from 5 to 7 years ago that is still showing up.

Please I want to get my credit cleaned up and consolidate everything into 1 payment a month. So I can get a car, and eventually be elligible for financing for a home.

Please someone one help me...

I can't do this by myself and I am desperate.
I also have 2 kids and I'm killing myself to make ends meet, but with a bad credit history and a car that is sucking the life out of my wallet.

I can't get anywhere.

I don't want to die young and not have anything for my kids and my husband should he out live me.

Please help!

You should talk to your local bank about a debt consolidation loan. Also, you can speak to consumer credit counseling service. 800-388-2227

Sounds Like you have gotten a good start to cleaning up your credit history in just knowing what you have out there.
This is what I have recently had to do as a result of a divorce that left me in a bad spot some years ago.
1. Get a copy of your credit report. I am amazed at what I found on mine, at least 3 collections I had no idea about, also it seems when I was mugged afew years back someone helped them selves to my ssn,( I don't recomend carrying a ssn in your wallet or purse)
2. If you have some collections that are small pay those off first, though this doesn't bring down the amount you are paying off each month it will give you a good boost of incouragement you will get to see quick results in the number of people you owe money too.
3. Talk to your creditor, many creditors with large companies have internal debt management programs, the companies would rather an honest person making attempts to pay them, and don't be shy about the situation you are in, As a Customer Service Rep for a Credit Card company I have heard all kinds of stories, all though yours seems like a bottomless pit there is always the next call that is worse and if the customer is straight forward it is easier to get you the help you need.
4.pay offs, settlements, or Consumer credit counseling, I list that last choice for one reasonI'm my situation, married 3 kids and about 4k in collections I managed all alone to turn that into $1500 in about 2 months and am taking out a loan against my company 401K to finish off the last of it, This is also not a bad choice if you want to re-establish as with my company this is reported to the CB and is a direct payroll deduction of about $35 a month over 2 years at a 5.9% interest rate and the interest just gets revested in my 401K, So I basicaly borrowed money from myself and am paying myself back with interest. Kinda cool hey.

that is the first steps I recomend for you.

Now this part is none of my bussiness but depending on the situation many people with disablities are finding good work, I was 2 years out of the Military on a service related disablity, when I found a Group Called BOOST that helped me get the skills I needed to move into an office job Check out B.O.O.S.T. 's web site at http://www.prup.com/boost/

And good luck,
Donnie
