I got a call last week that I was approved for a credit card and they mentioned something about Mastercard. Then today I got a card in the mail with a phone number to call, an authorization number and what kind of card I was approved for. It's a Diamond, un-secured, through E-Credit Soulution, Inc. 7349 NW 34th Street Miami, FL 33122. 800/959-4990 & 800/959-4995 I just recently turned 18, July, and they said that I already have a credit limit of $4,000. When I called the number, I ended up giving them info I shouldn't have because I was really confused and tired. They said that they would take like $200 out of my saving account, I stupidly gave them my info on this, but the transaction isn't SUPPOSSED to happen until the 2nd of November. Is this a legitimate company, and if so, why do they need money before they activate the card, and if it isn't, is there anyway that I can put a stop to them transferring money out of my account??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Do you have other credit cards? Are you a student? You should be able to cancel this card by calling back and saying that you don't want it. Many cards for people with no credit history or credit problems carry higher interest rates and upfront fees. Also, if you actually received a card I don't think it is a scam.

E-Credit Solutions is somehow associated with Capital Choice Consumer Credit. If you look up Capital Choice .....on the better busines bureau website, you'll be amazed at their report. Nobody has anything good to say about this company. I'm thinking about filing a class action suit against them. E-mail me if you're interested. By the way...you did get scammed.
