I heard there is a VISA card that you can get issued for use by your children, and you can control the amount of credit they have, etc. I am interested in such a product for teenagers.

I remember two products the M2 card and the Pocket Card. With both you could have multiple cards with different pre-paid spending limits. The cards were funded by a central account. I believe both companies went out of business.

However, you can look at the Capital One Visa Buxx card and American Express Cobalt card. I am not sure the cards offer the same flexibility for multiple children using the account, but they are designed for high school students.
