I have become more and more amazed everyday that I work for the credit card business. I also am amazed at how rude customers calling in become with the representatives. Remember the Representative has all of your information before them. And some people are not very ethical.
The important thing I want to discuss is how you can get what you want from the credit card bank. Call them, tell them you want a lower interest rate or you are going to CLOSE your acct. Do not accept below ten percent. If they do not offer below ten percent and you do want to the keep the acct, you can tell them to keep it open at the last minute. You must say, I repeat, SAY, you are going to CLOSE your account, CLOSE your acct.
