I have an excellent credit rating but with credit card and identity theft rampant these days, I would like to have a card with a low limit (say $500) that could be used for small internet purchases, E-Z Pass, the local video store, etc. In other words, basically anywhere that there may be an increased chance of someone stealing my credit card number. I am concerned at how easy it is to up a credit limit on a card and would like this card to have a predetermined set limit that could not be increased.

Do you know of any cards like this?

You can have your credit line reduced and/or frozen at a certain amount by simply contacting your credit card issuer and requesting it. $500 is a reasonable line of credit and should not present a problem.
