Topic NEXTCARD 0% online transfer offer -NOT!!

I applied on 6/24/01 from a banner ad advertising a 0.0% introductory rate for 3 months from NextCard, including balance transfers, from "higher rate cards". Then rate to go to 15.99% APR.
I transferred 2 balances. When my first statement arrived last week, there was a finance charge of $10.46. I immediately sent 2 emails and got same response: The offer I applied for was for a 15.99% ongoing APR! YEA RIGHT!
Like they're going to "banner" an ad for 15.99%. I FEEL DEFRAUDED! Is there any entity I can report this fraud to?

I personally have never heard of a Nextcard with 0.0% transfer rate. I just checked the "browse" section here and it says "as low as 2.99%" - and that's their best product as far as i know.
Also, keep in mind that NextCard is a counter-offer card. Many times, they list the BEST offer you can get, and if you don't qualify for it, you may be "counter-offered" another product.
