I received an offer yesterday from United Commerce Financial wiath a guaranteed $5,000 credit line and 0% apr for the first year with an annual fee of $49. Of course this sounds great to me, but is there a way I can find out more info? I cant find a web site for them and they dont include a phone number. I was wondering if there is any way I can find out if this is legitimate or a possible scam. They say there is no credit check, but then ask for your ss#. I think with no credit check, $5,000 is a pretty steep credit line.

That sounds suspicious. 0% intro APR for the first year with no credit check is definitely too good to be true. My advice is to not send money unless you verify that this is a legitimate company.

Thank you for that input. Have you ever heard of them? Do you know how I can get more info on them? I have done a few searches but they have been unsuccesful.

I tried a search through Google that came up empty. I am really suprised that they would send an offer with no contact information.
