I am looking for a credit card, or even a couple of credit cards that will allow people with bad credit or no credit to receive. Unsecured cards are best, and $1000.00 credit limit would be great. Any suggestions other than Nextcard and Getsmart.com?

Try Direct Merchants Bank. You can apply online and get a response in seconds. They have a variety of cards. I have the rate rewards card, which lowers your apr 1 point every 6 months if you make 6 consecutive on time payments.

None of my business of course, but if you make $6 K per month AFTER taxes, why are you worried about any card fees? If I were making as much as you do, I wouldn't even bother reading the fine print :)
Forgive me if my comment is inappropriate.
P.S. I also think Direct Merchants could be a good choice. Or even First Premier.

Lance,
Did you know that you can legally restore your credit? That may be a start while you build new credit. Also, I know of some companies who can get you started on some credit cards. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
