I got turn down from credit card. Because too many active in a short period. I wonder how long they will reconsider to give me the credit card. Also I want to know how many credit cards you can apply for a year. After I get a credit card how long I can call them to increase the credit line.

Did you get turned down because you have too many active credit cards or you have applied and been turned down for too many cards? You should not apply for many credit cards in one year. If you are turned down for more than 2 you are either being unrealistic about your creditworthiness or you could have incorrect information in your credit report.
