Topic Pay monthly charge, APR Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

If you pay your monthly statement, then the APR doesn't matter, right? If I buy something and I pay for it at the end of the month, then I only pay the amount I made for the purchase, right? The APR in a way is like the interest that is charged to you if you have a balance, right? Please help.
Thanks!

Correct, IF you have a grace period, and you paid the balance last billing period in full. If you don't have a grace period, interest charges will accrue immediately when the transaction posts to your account.

Actually, the interest accrues even with a grace period, but it's just not assessed to the account if you pay in full.
