I applied for a secured credit card with a bank through Union Bank of California, but I received my money back and a letter the next day stating that my application was rejected because I am not a citizen of the United States. I read the form before I completed it but no where did it state that I must be a citizen to apply.
I do have permanent resident status. Does this amount to discrimination and what should I do about it?
