I just get a discharge from a bankruptcy case.
How can I strat to apply for a new credit card? Is there a certain duration of time have to pass before applying for any card?
Thanks

Bankruptcies normally remain on your credit report for up to 10 years.

You may be able to begin to reestablish credit prior to your bankruptcy dropping off with a subprime lender. Check out the "cards for damaged credit" section in the "browse" area of this site.

I don't know the circumstances of your bankruptcy, but I would not recommend that you obtain another credit card until you're sure it won't cause you to fall back into insurmountable debt.

Hope this helps,
