I have 4 major credit cards 2 platinum visas,
1 gold mc, and titanium mastercard, 2 of these cards I applied for online a week ago
and approved for it. I since recieved a pre approved offer in the mail from chase manhattan bank and in it offers a lower apr and higher credit limit, I dont have any balances on these cards except for one. Will it hurt my credit if I apply for another credit card? how long do you have to wait to apply for a new card?

Pre-approved does not always mean approved. Check out the article in the learn section of this site. Having said that, it sounds as though you have a solid credit history and should not have a problem being accepted for the Chase offer.

My understanding in regards to inquiries, is that if you apply for a number of cards in a short period of time, issuers may interpret your behavior as being desperate for credit. This does not fit your profile so I would not expect you to have this problem.
