Hi, just I have been trying to obtain a credit card in the United Kingdom (obviously
that is where I live !!) I have been turned down for most applications due to past credit problems. I have applied for your
cards on internet and have passed OK, but they seem only to be for the U.S.A., when filling in the details, obviously some
things are in a different format etc. ie Social Security number (in our case National
insurance number). Any cnance you know of
a company that will accept in England (UK ??)
please please try and help me.

I am trying to put the record straight and
by having a credit card on record this seems
to go a million miles !

In order to be approved for a card in the US, you will need to supply an address in the US to which the card can be mailed. After getting the card, you will be allowed to change the account to a foreign address.

I do know that MBNA has offices in the UK. Have you tried applying with them?

I know this is a completely separate topic, but I couldn't seem to find one that suited my needs. I am actually trying to track down a specific card company, or provider, by the name of "RKW." All I have is an 800 number - no city, or even state (obviously in the U.S.). Could anyone provide any information, or direction for me?? I know they are Visa associated.
