A creditor reported a defaulted loan to all three credit reporting agencies. They were wrong to do so and admitted it in writing but told me to contact the credit reporting agencies myself to correct the problem. Transunion has corrected the report but the other two are dragging their feet. I need a credit card now. Does anyone know of a credit card company that uses only Transunion to check my credit history?

But keep in mind that the credit reporting agencies have an obligation to verify or drop incorrect information in a timely basis. A follow up letter may be in order to protect your credit.
