Do I have to have a banking account to get a card?Or can I just be billed? I dont have any accounts but I do pay my bill.

Having a banking account has the potential of increasing your chances of acceptance. This is because if you have money in the bank you most likely have the "capacity" to pay your monthly credit card bills.

If you are referring to a secured card, you will need to open up a bank account with the issuer. You can usually fund this account online with an ACH.
