Topic Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

I have a good question for the experts on credit cards. I filed Bankruptcy one year ago. I have built up good credit since then, however, what amazes me, is that 2 of my old major credit cards that I had, I filed bankruptcy against gave me another chance and gave me a credit card, unsecured both of them. Now, I have applied for instance with home depot and was denied because of Bankruptcy. I don't think that they even looked at my new credit at all! Why? I would really like to know the truth as to how these companies look at a Bankruptcy, because some have approved me, and some have not. I pay my bills before they are due, and I pay more than is due. I never go over my limit, so what is wrong here?????
